A new piece of Boss Baby crossover art imagines what Keanu Reeves’ John Wick would look like as a toddler with crayons instead of a pistol. Reeves has always been a household name but his resurgence in recent years thanks to the John Wick franchise (among other things) has turned him into one of the most beloved stars of all time. In addition to returning to some of his most iconic roles, including Ted Logan in Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020) and Neo in the upcoming The Matrix: Resurrections, Reeves kickstarted a revival of action films in the vein of John Wick.
In 2017, DreamWorks animation released The Boss Baby starring Alec Baldwin as Ted Templeton, the titular, giant-headed “boss baby” who prioritizes his career at Baby Corp over his family only to discover the importance of the latter throughout the film. Despite receiving mixed reviews, The Boss Baby was a box office hit and spawned this year’s sequel, Boss Baby: Family Business—which was reportedly streamed more than Disney’s Cruella. Boss Baby’s downright strange universe has proved somewhat of a sensation. However, whoever the boss may be in a third film may have met their match in he who is deemed the Internet’s boyfriend.
In celebration of Reeves’ 57th birthday Thursday, famed internet artist BossLogic shared a piece of John Wick/Boss Baby crossover art. The piece imagines what Wick aka “Baba Yaga,” would like in Dreamworks animation as “Baby Yaga.” Check it out below:

For the minority of those who have not seen the first John Wick, the film follows Reeves’ character after men break into his home, steal his vintage car and kill his dog, the last gift given to him by his late wife. It is then revealed that Wick is a famed assassin, who was compared to the mythical Russian boogeyman called “Baba Yaga,” formerly in the employment of Viggo Tarasov, the head of the Russian crime syndicate. Ironically, Viggo’s son is one of the men who broke into Wick’s home. Not unlike The Boss Baby films, the John Wick films explore an underground world in which the titular character reigns supreme.
Reeves is currently filming John Wick: Chapter 4, which is set to release next year. While the actor did voice a character in the family-friendly Toy Story 4, it’s unlikely he’ll appear as John Wick in The Boss Baby universe. However, BossLogic’s depiction certainly presents a compelling argument for not stealing his toys. Still, Reeves is so beloved and in such high demand at this point, he could theoretically appear anywhere and in anything, including the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
